NitaSTAPLESWith very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nita Staples, born March 3, 1936 to the late Eva and William Manning, Bristol. December 3, 1968, Nita, her husband, Anthony, and their children travelled "across the pond" for what was supposed to be a temporary stay- Canada became their new home but the UK was never far from her heart. Always giving to anyone in need, be they a family member, friend or complete stranger, Nita will always be remembered as one of the most selfless people we have ever had the privilege of loving. A wander in her flower garden, the Saturday afternoon opera and a good, hot cup of tea with a cat in her lap made for a perfect day. Kettle's on Mum! In addition to her parents, Nita was predeceased by her sister, Jill, brother, Michael, and son, Peter. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Anthony, daughters Sarah (Jeff) and Rachel, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held September 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Ferguson Funeral Home, Moncton NB, Canada. The funeral will be live-streamed. Online condolences and live-stream can be shared at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
